In traveling about the rural community of McHenry County, my homeland, we find the wonderful commonsensical flavor of the citizenry. There is a practical quality to the people here, an overall worldview that cuts through the “stuff” and gets to the heart of the matter. Part of McHenry County borders as a distant suburb of Chicago, on the other side is the sister city of Rockford. In-between, past the burbs, are farms and then more farms, smaller communities amongst larger towns. At least in part because of its positioning, the community is growing very fast.
Crystal Lake is one such town in McHenry County. Crystal Lake lost a hero last week. I was very touched by the community response. Deeply touched. Sgt Jason McLeod and his family are part of the fuel that spurs me forward. In speaking with members of the community, both business owners and residents, this citizen journalist witnessed such an outpouring of support and appreciation for this family’s sacrifice. The profound loss of Sgt McLeod’s for his mother, wife, and infant daughter Jocelyn touched everyone. I was able to witness the parade of signs throughout the community expressing love, support and gratitude. Thousands participated. Crystal Lake Central high school did not forget their alumni. Jason’s sister is currently a sophomore there.
For me personally, I was traveling with a friend to the McHenry County Court House on this day of December 2nd 2009, to file the Emergency Petition. She and I were on Hwy 14 as the Patriot Guard Riders, Crystal Lake Police and McHenry County Sheriff escorted the fallen solider home. There were military helicopters as escorts, emergency vehicles and many others in that procession. Many community members left work to witness this final journey home. They will not forget this young man or his family’s sacrifice.
So deeply touched, neither will I. I felt resurgence in my unyielding effort to finally get the simple answer to the most basic constitutional question, and it fueled both of us as we traveled to the county courthouse on our own somber mission. A symbolic coincidence of timing? I think not, for my friend and me, it imprinted upon us, just how small our sacrifice is compared to others.
Is this US President constitutionally eligible to command our military? What greater EMERGENCY can we have then the potential usurpation of the Executive branch of the government that We The People empower through our US and Illinois Constitutions?
Throughout the past week, having opportunity to speak with residents and business owners about Sgt McLeod, I witnessed in these practical people, conversation switch from heartfelt sympathetic grief for Jason’s family, to outrage. No other word can define it politely. The outrage that We The People, our children, spouses, and parents are dying for our US Constitution, yet we have no “standing” to question if the one in charge of our soldiers is constitutionally eligible to serve as President of our Constitutional Republic. To these community members, it makes no sense. None!
Outrage is a polite word for the depth of the seething anger I see amongst my neighbors here.
I saw this outrage on the Tea Party Express last month when the Patriot’s Heart Network was blessed to tour with them. While on stage to the protesters, I would ask simply “who is aware there is a constitutional question of Obama’s eligibility”? The crowd would erupt in a loud jeering response. Once quieted, I asked simply “and who believes We The People have standing to know”? To this the crowd shouted even louder, often rising to their feet and clapping.
It is the greatest American lie that Americans don’t know or care! We The People are not buying it! I don’t think the politicians realize just how deep this goes. Sure, it is political dynamite, don’t talk about it. That does not make reality go away.
Americans know and the anger fueled by lack of redress to this basic grievance is politely cast as outrage…
Even amongst our larger community, I am astounded at the media coverage, or lack thereof. A local citizen has alleged in open court that there is MASSIVE voter fraud in McHenry County and the media, save for the Northwest Herald, remains silent?
I head back to court at the end of the week. Believe me; I take each step with grave seriousness. Heavy on my heart is how such a small voice, with no legal training, will impress on the Judge and State’s Attorney that this EMERGENCY plea of mine absolutely touches on their Oath of Office. I have indisputable proof Obama was never verified as eligible to serve and that all members of this community were served a fraudulent ballot. Besides the conspiratorial fraud amongst players in the political theatre, this is due to a deficiency in the Illinois statutes and codes and potentially touches every office in McHenry County and the State of Illinois.
How to impress that this EMERGENCY touches our local, state and national security like no other emergency and that the election about to take place could also have unconstitutional candidates on it? Not willing to be an inefficient squeaky wheel, how do I proclaim loudly to such powerful people…?
“Excuse me… If I may?...You gave oath "I do solemnly swear (affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the State of Illinois…” I have proof of massive voter fraud in McHenry County. Our grand jury has the power to investigate my evidence, a power both of you surely lack outside of the grand jury.”
Who has no clothes on Obama or our election codes? Procedure cannot trump our Constitution. In Illinois, certification of candidacy without verification of eligibility is not sufficient to assure the constitutional protection We The People are assured. Who knew in the Democratic Party? A jury of my peers will have the wisdom to get We The People through this quagmire. Who else can hear this proof of massive voter fraud?
WHO ELSE CAN HEAR THIS??????
Already tested is the reality that in this Constitutional Republic, a government authorized and empowered by We The People through the Bill of Rights, neither the Legislative, Executive or Judicial branch has standing to stop this potential usurpation of the constitution. We The People MUST take responsibility, it is our job. In Illinois, our 23rd Bill of Rights demands it from us:
SECTION 23. FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES A frequent recurrence to the fundamental principles of civil government is necessary to preserve the blessings of liberty. These blessings cannot endure unless the people recognize their corresponding individual obligations and responsibilities.(Source: Illinois Constitution.)
Code or Constitution? Procedure, legal precedence or common law fact? If our Republic survives this constitutional EMERGENCY, the Constitution and common law will ultimately win. That also speaks to the EMERGENCY of my plea.
To those that query, We The People shout.
“It is an EMERGENCY because every day, every second a solider of ours is defending our constitution and our nation. If the executive administration is not constitutional then another crime is committed upon We The People, every second, every nanosecond!
Our national security is in grave danger! What is more of an EMERGENCY then that?”
It is the greatest American lie. As I have reported in the past.
Thank you U.S. Army Sgt. Jason McLeod, I know you are but one small voice who gave his life for our Country. But I heard that voice, and I shall never forget!
